Siobhan Brennan
I was immersed in the travel world early in life, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I especially enjoy making my clients' dreams come true, whether it’s procuring reservations at an exclusive restaurant or arranging an international event for a corporate fashion event or trade show.
I was born and raised in Ireland, where I studied tourism and marketing in college. I speak Irish (Gaelic), English. While I was in college, I worked as an au pair in Corsica to learn French. After graduating, I continued to build my French skills while working at a ski resort in the Pyrenees.
I came to the United States in 1980. My first job in the travel industry was working in the Discover Ireland vacation department of Aer Lingus in New York City. Later, I switched careers to work with Academic Arrangements Abroad on Wall Street. This was an upscale, niche agency where I discovered my talent for coordinating international events — including major conventions in Washington D.C. and Brussels.
As a travel agent, I pride myself on doing everything I can to accommodate a last-minute request or to respond to an emergency situation. When Hurricane Sandy hit in 2012, there was widespread damage throughout the entire eastern seaboard and the Caribbean. Many of my corporate clients were stranded with no way to reach out for assistance. The CEO of one Forbes-listed company was surprised in the best way possible when he was able to get in touch with me and other Tzell professionals. We were still operational and were able to provide travel solutions in their hour of need.
