I’ve been in the travel industry for quite some time. Prior to Tzell, I had a lucrative job at another agency, but something was missing. I was on the fence about leaving there for four years. Then, I had the chance to meet and speak with Barry Liben. I joined Tzell shortly after, and then my former agency closed only three months later— I joke that I kept the place going. That was all 20 years ago, and I haven’t looked back. Tzell is like home.
As a travel agent, there are some rules and guiding principles I’ve established for myself to help provide the best for my clients: never get complacent, always be hungry. Although more business is always good, I want to earn it the right way. I want my current clients to rave so much about my service that anyone listening seeks me out themselves. And for the clients I have, I always go the extra mile every step of the way. I make sure trips are loaded with freebies. I’m well-connected within the hotel industry, so my clients know to ask for “the Bonnie Rate.” Finally, I’m time sensitive. In the hustle of today’s world, every second counts. That’s why I’m available to facilitate the best travel experience all the time, not just during a 9-to-5 window.
