Jenny O'neill
After nearly 30 years in the travel industry, I am still excited to wake up every day to research and plan trips to destinations near and far that will delight my clients. I specialize in customized itineraries ranging from high-end to budget-conscious. Thanks to Protravel International's affiliation with Virtuoso and my own close personal relationships with top travel providers around the world, I am able to secure VIP hotel and resort amenities that add real value to your stay. I also have access to extraordinary experiences, wherever you go. Your happiness is my top priority, and I want to make sure everyone on the trip thoroughly enjoys every journey and destination to the fullest.
Whether you are traveling on business or vacation, I provide concierge-level service. If you are booking a villa, I can have it stocked with groceries. If you are going on a ski vacation, I can have your skis delivered to your chalet. Do you need to get your bags through Italian customs for Fashion Week? I can arrange it. I handle a number of high profile celebrities, but I make sure that all my clients get personal VIP treatment.
I am always looking for fascinating experiences that allow my clients to come back and say to their friends, ‘You won’t believe what we did!” Imagine meeting a master tailor whose toreador outfits are used in bullfights, featured in movies and displayed in a museum who can talk to you about the tradition of bullfighting and his craft. You might also enjoy an after-hours visit to a guitar-maker whose instruments are coveted around the world; Leonard Cohen even purchased one.
These authentic experiences provide deep insights into a destination. Plus, I have a network of excellent vetted guides with specialties such as food, art, and history. In Cuba, you might meet a cigar maker in his home, or ride a Harley Davidson through the countryside with a son of a famous revolutionary.
As a golfer and a golf specialist, I am well versed and well connected and can usually get guaranteed tee times, even on the Old Course at St. Andrews, as well as suggest golf outings in destinations that you might not be aware of.
I have been fascinated by travel ever since I can remember. As a little girl growing up in Ireland, I would sit on the rooftop of my home, watching planes take off from Dublin airport and imagining all the places they might take me. At 15, I visited the Canary Islands. There, for the first time, I experienced the thrill of jumping into a new climate, language, and culture.
With Europe at my doorstep, I had the chance to travel quite a bit, both around Great Britain and the rest of Europe. By the age of 25, I had figured out that I wanted a career in travel. I headed to the U.S. to attend travel school, and have been happily working as a travel agent ever since. Today, I am as passionate about sharing my love of travel with my clients as enjoying my own travels, and I pride myself on curating the best travel experiences the world can offer.
