As part of my work with production travel, I often am making arrangements for A-list celebrities. Through this, I build close relationships with hoteliers, giving them a heads up so they can roll out the red carpet, something they are more than delighted to do.
Hotels and resorts often provide a lot of added services and amenities to celebrities because they love being able to have celebrities as guests. Knowing the ways that hotels go the extra mile for celebs also gives me an in to ask for upgraded amenities or treatment for my non-famous VIP travelers, so everyone benefits!
One of the nice things about planning celebrity travel as part of my film production work is that I form relationships with the celebrities themselves. This very often leads to my becoming their personal travel agent of choice. Often their trips are quite special to plan. For example, I recently planned a two-week 50th birthday celebration in France for a celebrity (whose name I'm not allowed to share at this time).
Among the highlights were zip-lining along the Via Ferrata in the mountains near Nice, a stay at the posh Hotel du Cap-Eden Rock in Cap d’Antibes along the French Riviera, and then a week in the Champagne region based at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, a cool Relais & Chateau property set in the vineyards. Then, they spent a few days in Paris at the Four Seasons George V with a stopover in Dubai.
Of course, you don’t have to be a celebrity to get VIP treatment from my suppliers or me. With my extensive experience in the industry, my connections through Tzell Travel Group and my own connections forged during 20-plus years of travel, I can make every trip a VIP experience. Whether you’re planning a hideaway honeymoon or romantic getaway, or adventurous journeys into areas that rarely see visitors, I would love to make your dreams come true.
