Boston skillfully combines history with a modern cosmopolitan vibe: cobblestone streets lead to waterfront hotels and buzzworthy restaurants. Culture runs deep here, from the MFA's world-class collections to the contemporary edge of the ICA. Boston is a FANatical sports city, and its Fenway Park is a cathedral of baseball woven into daily life. Go Sox!
Its neighborhoods add more flavor: the North End’s Italian roots shine through in handmade pasta and rich family traditions, while Chinatown buzzes with dim sum spots, late-night noodles, and authentic, flavorful dishes. Between Beacon Hill’s gaslit beauty, the Freedom Trail, and the Seaport’s sleek dining rooms, Boston is a cityscape made for wandering.
Boston is also the gateway to New England-classic America, offering dramatic coastlines, white-clapboard villages, boutique resorts, and landscapes that shift gracefully through all four seasons. The region’s culinary identity is built on exceptional local sourcing: day-boat scallops, oysters, lobsters, artisan cheeses, heirloom apples, maple, and more. From Boston’s history and culture to Maine’s coastal hideaways to Vermont’s chic farm retreats and Rhode Island’s discreet beach enclaves, New England has much to offer. You should come!
I love Boston, not just because it’s my hometown, but because it – and the New England region offer so much. I love being a tourist in my own city! And I personally travel from Massachusetts’ Cape Cod to Cape Ann and beyond to all our neighboring states.
As a member of the Boston Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier (an international organization of women in the culinary and hospitality industries and the Boston chapter of SKAL (a global professional association for leaders in the travel and tourism industry.) I keep up with tourism, hotel, and restaurant updates in the region, as well as cultural and culinary experiences.
I’d be pleased to introduce you to Boston and beyond….
