I have been in the hotel and travel business for 30 years and am a passionate traveller who has lived in Australia, Florida, Edinburgh, Greece, London and Sweden and travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, North America and parts of South America and North Africa. With two children and a Swedish wife I spend my time between London and Sweden. I’m interested in family travel, sailing, skiing, adventure/experiential and culinary travel as well as specialising in Golfing Journeys of a Lifetime (being a golfer for over 40 years) and Greece & Italy. https://halsalltravel.com/ 

I am focused on creating the very best  value and experiences for my clients, researching and finding the best a destination has to offer to create memorable holidays.

I have created everything from three week culture and adventure trips around the whole of Scandinavia, sourced motor boats and yachts in the Mediterranean for families, booked family summer holidays in luxury Mediterranean resorts, London family trips, golf groups to California, honeymoons, culture trips to Cuba, skiing holidays and much more. 

I have long-standing personal connections with all the leading luxury brands and individual hotels that have allowed me to secure VIP service and very often upgrades to suites for my clients. 

I have a particular love and in depth knowledge of:

Greece having lived there for 2 years and being head of marketing for a Greek hotel company for 5 years and Italy after spending 4 years with Rocco Forte Hotels.

Australia having lived there for 2 years and travelled extensively around the country and also New Zealand, (visited half a dozen times and where my brother lives).

Scotland, having lived there for 4 years. Whilst for many UK residents they may think they can book everything themselves I have contacts that can open doors to unique experiences that are hard to find otherwise, as well as knowing many hoteliers and the best guides. I also have golf contacts with all the best courses and am a dedicated golf operator for Scotland!  

North America, where I lived for 1 year in Florida and have extensively travelled around California, New England and all major cities from New York to Chicago to San Francisco.

Sweden and Scandinavia, where I have partly lived for the past 7 years, with an in depth knowledge and contacts throughout the region.  

Argentina, where I was part of the team to launch and open a hotel in the stunning wine region of Cafayate Salta, Northwest Argentina.

Sweden and Scandinavia where I have lived for 6 years and also worked in Copenhagen. This region as well as Iceland (I was on an educational for 1 week in 2019) offers a variety of experiences from city culture and cuisine to adventure (kayaking and sailing) to heli-skiing in the Arctic Circle.
