Welcome to Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi off your international flight. You'll be met by a Meet & Greet service, which will assist you through customs and immigration. Once through baggage claim, you'll be escorted to the arrivals hall where your local guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you. From here, enjoy a private road transfer to your Nairobi hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll meet your private guide and set off on a full-day exploration of Nairobi’s highlights.
Today’s immersive tour starts at the Giraffe Centre, where you'll get face-to-face with endangered Rothschild giraffes. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to witness the orphaned baby elephants during their morning mud bath and feeding session. After a stop for lunch, continue to the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the Out of Africa author. Finally, finish off the day with some shopping at one of Nairobi’s vibrant craft centers. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon, and enjoy an evening at your leisure to unwind and reflect on a day full of memorable encounters.

Check out and meet your driver in the hotel reception for your transfer to Nairobi’s domestic Wilson Airport. On arrival, you will be met and assisted with check-in for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Lewa.
Touch down at the Lewa airstrip, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge. After settling in and enjoying a light lunch, head out on your first afternoon game drive, a perfect introduction to the magic of Lewa.

During your stay, your days will follow a lovely rhythm of early morning and late afternoon game drives and nature walks. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is especially loved for its endangered species, including black and white rhino, reticulated giraffe, and the world’s largest population of Grévy's zebra.
You’ll also have the chance to go behind the scenes and learn about Lewa’s inspiring conservation and community work; visit the operations center, meet the anti-poaching and tracking dog teams, and stop by the local school and clinic.
For those craving a little adventure, optional activities include camel rides across the plains, a canopy walk in the Ngare Ndare Forest, and even a dip in its crystal-clear glacial pools.
For something truly extraordinary, take to the skies on a scenic helicopter excursion (own account) to visit the remote Samburu and Pokot tribes of Northern Kenya.

Later this afternoon, head out on your first game drive in this iconic landscape, an unforgettable introduction to the wonders of the Masai Mara.

Explore this magical area of Kenya – head out on game drives and find those last few elusive animals that you have not yet managed to see. You may also choose to visit a local Masai Village that is supported by the lodge and get a taste for the way the Masai people live and their unique traditions. You will be shown into a house and be able to participate in a few of the dances that they perform to welcome you to the village.
Or while you are here I recommend you enjoy a hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara.

After your morning activity, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out. You’ll then transfer to the nearby airstrip for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival at Wilson Airport, you’ll be met and assisted with the connection to your next flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar.
Once you arrive in Zanzibar, a friendly representative will meet you and assist you through to the arrivals hall, where your private transfer to your resort awaits.

At a time advised by the resort host, you will be met and transferred back to Zanzibar Airport, where you will be assisted with checking in for your international flight homeward.
