I lived for 2 years on the Italian Riviera near Portofino.  A stunning coastline with charming towns and fishing villages like Rapallo, Santa Margherita and Camogli to visit. Fresh fish, trofie al pesto and focaccia with cheese, onions or olives are all particular to this region and delicious!  Rome is still one of my favorite cities and, of course, the Tuscan countryside and Amalfi coastline will always be popular.  As is Puglia now.  Finding new and off-the-beaten path locations and experiences is what I love and there are still many areas left to be explored.
