Lisbon
As the capital of Portugal, Lisbon is one of Europe’s most vibrant and livable cities. Perched on seven hills alongside the Tagus River, Lisbon enthralls with medieval alleys adorned with majestic plazas paved in white and black stones, streetcars rattling up steep slopes, and trendsetting urban art, design, and nightlife scenes. Today our engaging guide gave a thorough overview of Portugal's rich history as we toured iconic sites like the imposing Belem Tower and Monument to the discoveries celebrating the nation's former imperial glory. We delighted in local delicacies such as pastel de nata custard tarts and the ingenious alheira "sausage" created by the Jewish community. Tonight, we stayed at a chic, upscale, centrally-located hotel.

Estoril Coast
Fusing azure waters with dramatic cliffs cascading to sandy shores, Portugal's Estoril Coast has beckoned beachgoers and luminaries for generations. Stretching just 32km along the Portuguese Riviera from the vibrant capital of Lisbon to the historic town of Sintra, the cobbled fishing villages of Cascais and Estoril rose to fame as a glamorous resort destination in the 19th century. Nestled in of Sintra, Portugal, stands the Palácio da Pena. This colorful palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases a blend of architectural styles, from Moorish to Romantic. Built in the 19th century, the Palácio da Pena offers breathtaking panoramic views of Sintra. The Pena Palace Tuk Tuk Experience offers a delightful journey through the winding paths of Sintra's hills, providing panoramic views of the palace.
