The Luxury lodges of New Zealand are amount the finest and unique experiences in the country. Two of my favorite places to stay are Eichardt’s Private Hotel and Matakauri. Both are located in Queenstown, one of the most quintessential destinations on the South Island. Eichardts is steps from the shores of Wakatipu and Matakauri sits high above the town overlooking the lake. Both offer stunning views of this stunning destination.
