North India, Bhutan & Myanmar Tapestry
Hiking start point to Tiger
Hiking start point to Tiger's Nest, Bhutan

Our India, Bhutan, and Myanmar tour was a rich tapestry of experiences, taking us from the bustling lanes of old Delhi with its iconic landmarks like the Chadni Chowk, Jama Masjid, and the stately India Gate, to the architectural wonders of Rajasthan and the romantic allure of the Taj Mahal in Agra. As we journeyed to Bhutan, the Dragon Kingdom known for its unique Gross National Happiness index, we were enchanted by the valleys of Paro, Thimpu, and Wangdu/Punakha. Hiking to the revered Tiger Nest Monastery was a spiritual experience.

Our departure from Bhutan provided one of the most unexpected and breathtaking highlights of the journey. As our Bhutan Airways flight soared through the skies, the pilot's announcement led us to a mesmerizing view from our window seat — Mount Everest, standing tall and majestic under a radiant sun. Witnessing the pinnacle of the world from such heights was not just a sight to behold but a moment that inspired awe and wonder.

Our adventure then continued in Myanmar. In Bagan, the thrill of ebiking amidst ancient pagodas was unparalleled. Every turn unveiled a new piece of history, a testament to a bygone era. Our adventure continued at Inle Lake, where a highlight was the authentic cooking class with Mr. Min. Departing from the Princess Hotel, we were picked up by a tiny motorized boat, and after some local food shopping, we found ourselves in a quaint hut overlooking lush rice fields. Under Mr. Min's guidance, we conjured an incredible meal, getting a firsthand experience of the very dishes we had been introduced to on our first night at the Belmond, Yangon hotel.

I took great pride in orchestrating every detail of our journey seamlessly. My husband was in absolute awe and savored every single moment. This meticulously planned trip was filled with both grand moments and intimate experiences, each adding to the tapestry of our unforgettable journey.
